The Paragliding App is committed to protecting your privacy. All your flight data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Data Collection and Storage

What we collect:

• Flight data you import (IGC files, sites, wings, notes)
• Device location (only when you use the “Nearby Sites” feature)
• App preferences and settings

Where it’s stored:

• All data is stored locally on your device
• No data is transmitted to or stored on external servers
• Backups remain under your control

Third-Party Services

The app connects to external services to provide features:

• Paragliding Earth API: To fetch flying site information
• OpenAIP API: For aviation airspace and airport data
• Weather forecast providers: For site-specific weather forecasts
• OpenStreetMap: For map tiles and terrain data

These services may log your IP address and request metadata according to their own privacy policies.

Permissions

• Storage: Read IGC files and save backups
• Location: Find nearby flying sites (optional)
• Internet: Fetch maps, sites, airspace, and weather data

Your Rights

• You own all your data
• You can export or delete your data at any time
• No account registration required
• No analytics or tracking
